Our Story
Harris and Amber started Harris Heritage Cavaliers over 18 years ago with a simple mission: to breed the healthiest, happiest Cavalier King Charles Spaniels possible. What began as a passion for the breed has grown into a trusted breeding program recognized as AKC Breeders of Merit.
Every one of our puppies is raised in our family home, surrounded by children, other pets, and everyday household activities. This ensures that when your puppy arrives at your door, they are confident, well-socialized, and ready to become a cherished member of your family.
Health Testing Program
We are committed to the long-term health of the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel breed. All of our breeding dogs undergo comprehensive health testing including:
- OFA Heart Certification — Echocardiogram by a board-certified cardiologist
- CERF Eye Examination — Annual eye exam by a veterinary ophthalmologist
- OFA Patella Evaluation — Screening for luxating patella
- DNA Testing — For Curly Coat Dry Eye Syndrome and Episodic Falling Syndrome
